Namely a “lazy egg,” Gudetama was born in 2013 and quickly became a YouTube star with a series of short films, aimed at teenagers and millennials.
Gudetama is the anti-hero, perpetually tired and ready to be eaten but despite his attitude, he has now become a success with prestigious fashion collabs, dedicated restaurants, thousands of licensed products around the world... and even a custom animated “an eggcellent adventure” plane that debuted on the platform in December 2022 and is already a global hit.
